Photostat reproduction of Peck's manuscript diary during the "Missouri persecutions" of Mormons. He describes the church's religious, economic, and political organization and presents the nature of opposition to the leaders of the Mormon Church. He records rumors, gives accounts of battles, and recounts the scene of the Haun's Mill Massacre.
